Description
along with my other picture of Erik's lair, i remade Christines bedroom from Erik's house. i also think i should recreate her dressing room with large mirrors and a plenty of tiny flowers. i need to made a blanket for the bed (i can sew or knit it) and i need some paintings for the wall. but that lamp was a great find, and those drawers really open! and that giant jug is really water for washing ones face or hands in that time.

Aha! Now we know where the door seen in Erik's bedroom REALLY leads.
I really like Christine's bed - it's very pretty.
It's so wonderful to find another longtime miniature enthusiast. I've been collecting for over 30 years now!
You might look on eBay for a miniature bedspread. Sometimes stuff like that can be fairly inexpensive. Kind of depends on the demand.
I don't know how thin a thread one can use when knitting, but if you can use sewing machine thread I'd recommend it over crochet thread. It's smaller in diameter so more to scale, and it comes in many more colors. (I tat miniature doilies using sewing machine thread.)
EBay is also a great source for miniature accessories in all price ranges as well. Many of my Mini Erik's li'l doodads came from eBay.
So, are you using a doll house or shadow box? Mini Erik's lair is currently located on a shelf.
There are pics in my gallery if you're interested in checking it out.
